Bashar is a Cinematographer and director based in Santa Clara, California. Since the day he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts he was already involved in cretin projects as broadcast director at the Iraqi national TV, then perusing his thrust to do his own projects, and after he got the Masters in animation, his  work has been consistently sought out by a number of prominent advertising clients, including  UNICEF for their 2008 ICBD awarded film, and so he started in 2003 with The Government of Abu Dhabi TCC system education video, Bates Pangulf advertising agency for their anti-violence public announcement campaign at the middle east in 2004, then in 2005 where Iraq was the hottest zone in the world he was engaged in big public announcement contracts representing Blankcreative llc. production house executing for the US Embassy-Baghdad, the ING Iraqi National Guards campaign, RONCO, NMAA minefields campaign, and the Iraqi government for their 130 Hotline campaign, and also  MDA Singapore when he moved to the South East Asia region in 2007, He has worked in animation industry for big broadcasted animated projects like LAMAN RIMBA, INTELLIGENT BLUES CLUB, LANG the Jungle Protector, and for  client like Malaysian government agency FINAS the acclaimed  Anime "Satria the warriors of the 7 elements"  in collaboration with Japanese animation giant GONZO studios.   

His own curiosity for different ways of living have brought him to new and unfamiliar territories—from areas as far away as the middle east to the south east Asia ending up here at the west cost in the heart of the world's technology capitol the Silicon Valley, which he continues on perusing his passion to art beside teaching it at the Academy of Art University San Francisco.
